From Rehearsal to Opening Night

I’m always grateful for opportunities to return to my creative roots.

For Picasso at the Lapin Agile, I stepped into the role of Producer, overseeing the production from rehearsal room to opening night. This meant building the production team, coordinating casting, managing the production timeline, and the many moving parts that bring a live show together.

From assigning production budgets and sourcing costume elements to supporting set assembly, every detail required structure and creative problem-solving. I love to get my hands dirty and also contributed to sound and lighting design, programming cues in CueLab to help shape the rhythm and atmosphere of the show.

Producing theatre is where logistics meets storytelling, and I love working at that intersection.

A personal highlight was leading the social media and marketing campaign.

Each character received a custom-designed poster, giving the campaign a cohesive but character-driven feel.

It was a playful way to build anticipation and showcase the personality of the production before audiences even stepped into the theatre.
