London → NYC

Two Cities, One Seamless Workshop

A good planner thinks outside the box.

This project called for two technology workshops back-to-back in New York and London. With a short turnaround time, and limited budget, a traditional meeting space like a hotel or convention centre was off-the-table.

Add into the mix that the client needed a large amount of breakout rooms and the scope was feeling impossible.

Then, I had a genius idea. What if we hosted our workshops in co-working spaces! I identified a global brand for a multi-booking discount and the workshops went ahead, taking over a full floor of office space in two of the worlds busiest cities.

Instead of using a traditional conference venue, I proposed something a little different: hosting the workshops in co-working spaces.

The result was a more relaxed, collaborative environment that suited the format of the sessions and significantly reduced venue costs for the client.
